Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon Expecting First Child: Report

It's official, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are expecting!

The folks over at RadarOnline.com have confirmed the news from a source close to Carey and Cannon, following news that the 40-year-old R&B singer recently dropped out of her next film -- a role in Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf.

"They're both very excited and very happy," the insider told the website.

The two recently renewed their wedding vows to celebrate their second anniversary in May. Now, they will make their life complete with their first child.

While the source confirmed the pregnancy news, Mariah's rep told Radar that she is "not at liberty to discuss Mariah's personal life."

The source said that the couple "want to keep the pregnancy quiet as long as they can."

Mariah and Nick got married in 2008, after knowing each other only six weeks.
