For months, the rumor mill has been buzzing over the relationship between Alicia Keys and producer Swizz Beatz.

There's also been rumors that Keys is pregnant. Well, the couple have finally put the rumors to bed, with an official announcement that they're expecting a baby ... and are getting married.

A representative for Keys and Swizz released a statement to People confirming the news on Thursday (May 27), saying "[they]are expecting a baby and are engaged to be married in a private ceremony later this year."

This will be Key's first marriage, as well as first child. Beatz (real name: Kasseem Dean) has two other children from previous relationships -- Kasseem Jr., 3, and Prince Nasir, 9.

Swizz's divorce from singer Mashonda was granted two weeks ago, and the public announcement was made this week.

Keys and Beatz have been reportedly dating since 2008.

Despite her pregnancy, Keys is currently on tour promoting her latest album, The Element of Freedom, which is scheduled to end next month.
