Kid Cudi Reviews Revamped 'Nightmare on Elm Street 2010', Gives It Two Thumbs Up

The revamped "A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010" hits theaters on Friday (April 30). We were planning a review of our own after seeing it early, but after seeing that Kid Cudi penned his own, we thought it'd be more interesting to just feature his.
After attending the film's premiere at Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. on Tuesday (April 27), the rapper took to his official website to publish a positive review.
Cudi loved it too, and so did we. BallerStatus.com's owner, Jay, gave it a 4.0 outta 5.0.

WHY: its a perfect date movie and the rebirth of Freddy Krueger with a modern day twist. the new Krueger played by Jackie Earle Haley did his thing and made freddy his own. him and Robert Englund are 2 diff freddys to me but both good at being creepy, psychotic and scary as f***

in the beginning your goin to be VERYYYY skeptical. if ur into horror like me, you dont wanna see a icon get rebooted the wrong way. but its cool for a remake, wayy better than a lot of remakes. IN CONCLUSION: if u wanna have a lil fun at the movies with a date or your homies this friday, go check it out. its not a waste of time. its mandatory actually. i mean cmon its Freddy Krueger!!!!
I could not agree with you anymore. It was really badass at the midnight showing last night. The irony was I have school so I WAS tired at the same time the movie people were. Haha Jackie Earl Haley is way more serious, blunt, straight-forward, and straight up brutal. His kills were unique, and hes ugly and creepy. Im going to see it again tonight, ONLY high as fuck!

I did not like it and here is why. However, I do agree, its a pretty good date movie if you want her to sit on your lap for half the movie.
