 When Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member, Flesh-N-Bone, was arrested in Cleveland last month, it was for a warrant stemming from an incident more than a decade ago.
According to a recent report, the rapper (real name: Stanley Howse) was charged with domestic violence and felonious assault charges from 1998, for allegedly hitting his mother with a gun.
When he was taken into custody last month, Flesh said he was unaware of the charges. But authorities claim that when they came to the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony show on March 28th, the rapper knew they were there for him, so he invited audience members to the stage and tried to slip out.
He was, however, arrested backstage.
Sheriff's spokesman John O'Brien tells the Associated Press that Flesh left a 1-inch cash on his mother's head more than 10 years ago, of which his mother and two other witnesses have admitted to, authorities say.
Flesh said this week, before a concert in Atlanta, that he didn't remember the incident ever happening.
"It didn't happen," he said.
The rapper claims that he and his mother have a good relationship and she is even upset about his arrest. Flesh even said that she lived with him for a year after he was released from prison in 2008 after serving nearly eight years for felony gun and assault charges.
"I would never do anything like that to my mother," Flesh said. "Anyone that thinks I would do something like need to check themselves."
