Rapper K'Naan announced this week that he and Wale will be kicking off a short co-headlining tour across the east coast, beginning at the end of March.
The tour kicks off on March 31st in New York City and will continue through mid-April, stopping in Baltimore, Boston, Philly and Atlanta, before things close out with two performances in Ohio on April 14th.
Ex-Fugees producer/rapper John Forte is also featured on the tour with Tabi Bonney as the opener.
The Somali-born K'naan has been making headlines as of late with his latest single, "Wavin' Flag," which was chosen as the Coca-Cola World Cup theme song for the 2010 World Cup. He recorded a "celebration mix" version of the track specifically for Coke. The track is off his second studio album, Troubadour, which is out now.
Wale, on the other hand, is touring in support of his debut album Attention Deficit, which dropped in November 2009. So far, he's three singles from the album -- "Chillin' " with Lady Gaga, "World Tour" with Jazmine Sullivan, and the latest "Pretty Girls" featuring Gucci Mane.
