Last summer, luxury eye wear company Mosley Tribes revealed an upcoming collaboration with New York-based fashion line Hellz Bellz for a run of limited shades called the Chambers.
They finally dropped late last year. Although they've been out since at least December, we still feel they're a hot item to pick up ... while they last.
Info/Specs: The Chambers collabo frames were released in two colorways, as a part of Mosley Tribe's Resort/Spring 2010 collection. There's the black frames with red inside and grey gradient lenses; and the vintage tortoise/jade green with spice brown gradient lenses.
They also sport a gold metal plaque inside the frame with the Hellz logo, as well as cracked bottle plaque at the end of left temple. The middle bridge displays a discreet laser etched Mosley Tribes logo that actually pops out to create a plastic double bridged aviator look. Additionally, the side window boast gradient lenses and are 100% UV protection grade.
According to Nitrolicious.com, only a limited run of 250 in each colorway were manufactured.
Why We Like It: This collaboration was beautifully done. The frames are stylish, and both colorways are neutral enough to wear with any outfit. We really love the black/red colorway, although the tortoise can set things off as well.
While they retail for a pricey $220, the limited availability make them a pair of sunglasses you won't find too many people rocking. And, since they've been out since at least December 2009, it's unknown how many are left for sale.
We love them, but it's really a matter of preference for the buyer. But, if you want them, you better act fast. Our friends over at KarmaLoop still have some black/red frames left.
Buy the Hellz Bellz x Mosley Tribes Chambers now at KarmaLoop.com for $220.
