Travis Barker's tattoo for DJ AMIt's been six months since the tragic death of DJ AM. While fans still remember him, it's his close friends who miss him the most.

Blink-182's Travis Barker was probably one of his closest friends. They toured the nation together, performing a live set consisting of drums and two turntables.

To honor the memory of his late friend, Barker recently got some fresh ink permanently etched onto his thigh by famed Los Angeles tattoo artist, Mister Cartoon.

The piece features the words "In Memory of DJ AM" over clouds, bursts of sunlight and an angel in prayer.

While fans will never be able to witness Barker and AM together live again, the drummer recently found a new partner-in-crime for a similar styled show set to begin next week.

Barker and A-Trak revealed last month their plans to team up for a string of live shows and projects.

"It's going to be a mix of everything," A-Trak said of their planned performances. "We're still kind of rehearsing it, but I think it's going to be some songs people recognize, some of the remixes Travis has done, some of my remixes. Just kind of mix it up."

The duo will debut together for the first time in Hollywood next week for back-to-back performances at the Roxy on March 9th and 10th. Then, they'll be heading on the road.
