By Ronnie Gamble ♦ Published 03/04/2010

Reflection EternalHip-hop duo Reflection Eternal, consisting of rapper Talib Kweli and producer Hi-Tek, revealed this week that their long awaited sophomore album, Revolutions Per Minute, has been pushed back to late April.

The album, which the follow-up their 2000 debut Train of Thought, was set to drop April 6th, but will now hit stores April 20.

The duo dropped their debut in 2000 to critical acclaim, but the follow-up never came, and the pair went their separate ways to focus on individual projects. Now, here it is, 10 years later.

"Every all 126K of you buy Revolutions Per Minute the week of April 20th, you will guarantee a Number 1 record for Reflection Eternal ..., "Kweli tweeted recently (@RealTalibKweli).

To hold fans over until then, Kweli and Hi-Tek dropped a mixtape in January titled The Re:Union, boasting nearly 30 new tracks, featuring guests such as Jay Electronica, J. Cole, Mos Def, Royce Da 5'9, Styles P and Kool G Rap, among others.

The mixtape is available for free download at YearoftheBlackSmith.com.

Revolutions Per Minute's lead single is called "Back Again" and is currently available on iTunes. The duo are also gearing up for the release of a new music video for "In This World," set to premiere on Myspace.com/ReflectionEternal on March 7th.
