Singers Christina Milian and The-Dream welcome their first child on Friday (February 26) ... it's a girl!

According to E! Online, the baby girl's name is Violet, but further details about the birth -- where it took place, the baby's weight, etc. --- were unknown at press time.

The couple wed in September during a ceremony at one of Las Vegas small wedding chapels.

News of their pregnancy were revealed that same month.

The-Dream told MTV last week that he's was excited about the arrival of his new daughter, saying he's already made some big purchases for her.

"The baby will be here Sunday, no later than Sunday," he said. "The baby already has a car, I got a house just for the baby -- Christina can't get in the baby's car. I'm giving all my attention that I usually give to Christina to the baby, all the flowers I usually give Christina, I'm giving them to the baby."
