That show is not supposed to be "uplifting", it's called "satire". It looks at some of the strange, sometimes hypocritical parts of the world (yes, including the black community) and showing how ridiculous these things can be.

I also gotta cosign J-SMOOTH for callin' out "Cpimpin" for having a name like that, and trying to act all ignorant about how the show "sets black people back" and shit.

Actually if you pay attention to the show it is actually sending a message to the black community. You have to look beyond the crassness of the show. Like the poster above me said, each episode is a satire of the black American community.

the boondocks is way better than south park, the simpsons and american dad put together, the boondocks deserves a 4th and 5th season, i cant wait until it comes out...the good thing about the boondocks is that it has a strong message in all its episodes if y watch with an open mind, and not being judgemental ,while on the other hand family guy and american dad are races cartoons, all they do is make with people look good, and blacks mexicans and asians look dumb. i feel if they can play family guy south park american dad and the simpsons than they should also play boondocks on a regular basis
