Romeo, son of southern hip-hop mogul Master P, became a star at a young age. But, he always kept a level head. He's currently a USC student-athlete, and while his team is important, he understands the importance of education.

The young entertainer has joined forces with Six Flags Friends, the philanthropic arm of the national theme park, as well as I Heart Haiti Kids and Urban Born, to host a benefit concert and book drive for Haiti at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California on Saturday (February 27).

The concert will help in rebuilding schools in the destroyed country. Fans can bring two Books to Six Flags Magic Mountain and receive discounted admission to theme park the weekends of February 27-28, March 6-7 or March 13-14, will receive a discounted admission ticket of $24.99, and entrance into the concert on February 27.

Romeo will perform alongside the College Boyys, while other artists include teen artists such as Anne Marie Perez De Tagle, Romeo's sister Cymphonique and Fabulous Girls, JoJo, Lil King and Lil Fresh Boyz, and countless others.

"I'm also reaching out to my other celebrity friends such as Jaden Smith, Miley Cyrus, Justin Beiber, Keke Palmer, Jonas Brothers, and Nick Cannon to help join in on this movement," said Romeo.

The first 3,000 people bringing books on February 27 will be admitted to the free concert with their paid park admission.

After experiencing tragedy in his father's hometown of New Orleans, in wake of Hurricane Katrina, Rome realizes the importance of getting the kids in Haiti back on track and back into the school system.

"We are focusing on the importance of education and helping devastated Haiti kids through their recovery process to receive a basic education," Rome said. "In the U.S., a basic education is a necessity, but in poor countries like Haiti, it's a luxury. Every kid, no matter how poor, deserves a basic education. Our mission is to give Haiti kids a chance at a good start. By our team effort and our kids getting involved and doing their part, we are touching the hearts of a nation of kids that have lost so much.

"This is definitely not an overnight process nor a one time commitment," he added. "We are dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of these underprivileged kids through education. By donating and recycling books we are giving Haiti kids the opportunity to read, stimulate their imagination, hope, and dream, envision, and prepare for their future."

The I Heart Haiti Kids organization's goal is to raise awareness, collect books and raise funds to rebuild schools for Haiti kids.
