The 14th Annual Pro-Am International Hip-Hop Conference is set to premiere in Las Vegas this week, featuring all the elements of the genre.
From Thursday (February 11) through Saturday (February 13), the Pro-Am Conference will bring dancers, MCs, graffiti writers and DJ battles to Vegas, before it heads out to 10 other major cities for a minimum of two days in each through November of this year.
Stops include dates in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Tokyo, Paris, Honolulu and Toronto, with other dates to be announced.
Each stop will include several event components throughout the duration: Pro-Am 2010 Opening Party, a fashion show, open dance circles, a beatbox contest, a Pro-Am speaker panel, competition finals, awards, and an official after party.
This year's line-up includes MCs, DJs and dancers such as: Zulu Gremlin, Ken Swift, Fayzo, Don Campbell, Speedy Legs, Mr. Freeze, Alien Ness, Float, Easy Roc, Iceman, Kid Freeze, Rakaa Iriscience, Kool Herc, Mellow Man Ace, K-Solo, and the list goes on.

Launched in 1997, the PRO-AM International Hip-Hop Conference, in association with Red Bull, showcases the world's best hip-hop talent and "establishes a platform for young, upcoming artists to showcase their talent, while being educated about a performing culture that can make a positive change in their lives," says event organizers.
