Nelly's Apple Bottoms brand selected a new model to represent their line in The Netherlands recently, after Anna Perret was selected following their search for "Miss Apple Bottoms 2010: The Netherlands."
Perret is an 18-year-old native of Amsterdam was selected as the company's face in the Netherlands after beating out 15 other finalists.
For winning, she'll be featured in a run of ad campaigns for Apple Bottoms in the Netherlands, both commercial and print, wins a cash prize of 15.000 Euro, and will be featured in a high fashion photo shoot in Paris for an international fashion magazine.
According to reps from Apple Bottoms: Netherlands, the final event for "The Search for Miss Apple Bottoms 2010: The Netherlands" began with fashion show that showcased the Apple Bottoms Fall/Winter collection 2010.
15 finalists presented the collection in true diva style to a sold out crowd of 1,500 visitors, including national and international celebrities, retail buyers, fans and the press.
After the show, the 15 finalists came on stage in a final event in The Netherlands where they struted their stuff before the public, the jury and all viewers via the live stream in over 200 countries.
In the end, the jury selected 18-year-old Anna Perret to represent the Apple Bottoms line. The 2nd runner up was
Roxanne, who was the public's favorite, especially through the online voting.
Due to the success of the Netherlands search, Apple Bottoms and Nelly have decided to do a search for "Miss Apple Bottoms" in 20 different countries around the world. "Miss Apple Bottoms: Europe" is next, and North American is "definitely in the plans," says the company.
