If you've taken a browse around the blogosphere as of late, you probably saw Kanye West re-surface at Menswear Fashion Week in Paris last week with girlfriend Amber Rose in tow. Although, seeing Kanye has been a rare occurrence since his embarrassing VMAs incident last year, the thing that stuck out the most about the photos of he and Rose was their fur ensembles.
We all knew it was coming ... so, here it is ... PETA finally called the couple out, calling them both "pathetic creatures."
In a post on PETA's blog on Friday (January 2), the animal rights organization posted a photo of the couple along with a quote from Kanye's hit song "All Falls Down."
"The prettiest people do the ugliest things / For the road to riches and diamond rings ... We'll buy a lot of clothes, but we don't really need 'em / Things we buy to cover up what’s inside," the quote read from the 'Ye hit.
PETA goes on to call Amber Rose Kanye's "sleazy sidekick," before referring to the rapper's lyrics to describe their choice of clothing: "the ugliest things."
They also claim, Rose "refused to remove her full-length lynx coat during a show at Paris Men's Fashion Week."
"Kanye can't help making himself look like an idiot, whether at an awards show or a fashion show," said PETA Vice President, Dan Mathews. "He and his girlfriend look like pathetic creatures from a shabby roadside zoo."
Last year, PETA named Kanye one of their Worst-Dressed Celebrities of 2009, along with Madonna and the Olsen twins.
