Major Lazer, the collaborative musical project from DJ-producers Diplo and Switch, announced this week that will bring their crazy live parties on the road for a tour they call "Lazers Never Die."

The tour begins on March 27 in Miami, Florida before heading mobile for nearly a month stopping in Atlanta, Cleveland, New York, Detroit, and Chicago, before they wrap things up with an appearance at Coachella on April 17th.

Last year's release of Major Lazer's debut album, Guns Don't Kill People, Lazers Do, brought a round of critical applause from major music publications like Rolling Stone, Spin, Fader, Paste, Pitchfork, and was voted one of the top 10 albums of the year by the New York Times.

The futuristic dancehall and digital reggae bangers have set the bar for DJs and their fans to expect a higher quality of cross continental influences in modern dance music. 2009 was just the start for Diplo and Switch's protégé, Major Lazer, and according to their camp, fans can expect more in 2010.

Major Lazer will be joined on the road by Rusko.
