Singer Keyshia Cole is getting serious with her NBA man, Daniel "Boobie" Gibson of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

According to reports, the couple are engaged ... and are expecting their first child together.

The rumors were circulating about the news, but Cole's rep finally made the confirmation with USMagazine.com this week.

"I can confirm she is engaged and has an incredible ring," her rep told the site.

The rep said that Gibson proposed to the singer on New Year's Eve, and she was surprised.

"When he asked her to marry him, she was flabbergasted," the rep said. "He presented her with the ring and her mouth dropped in amazement. It's too beautiful for words."

Cole is 28, while Gibson is just 23.

Keyshia is also gearing up for the release her fourth studio album later this year.
