Guess what? Lil Wayne's highly-anticipated Rebirth album has been pushed back yet again, following the foul-up by Amazon, who accidently helped cause widespread leakage of the album prematurely.

In December, Amazon accidentally shipped 500 copies of what was to be Weezy's Rebirth album weeks before it was set to street, due to a shipping error.

See, the album was originally set to hit stores on December 21, but was pushed to February 1, but that memo missed the shipping department for some reason, who sent 500 lucky fans who pre-ordered the LP. That advanced release helped spread unreleased Weezy tracks all over the Internet, including his highly anticipated collabo with Eminem, "Drop the World."

While the February 1st release date was set to coincide with Lil Wayne's jail stint, and other sources claiming it was shelved indefinitely, Wal-Mart has put a new date on the project -- June 22.

According to Digital Music News: "The pre-order is also unavailable on the iTunes Store, though the first-run version is totally available through unauthorized online channels. Meanwhile, Walmart is listing the release date at June 22nd. The earlier consensus was that Rebirth would finally emerge during the first quarter."

New York Times' writer, Jon Caramanica, said -- in his recent "Trial of Lil Wayne" piece -- a new version of Rebirth should be expected: "According to a representative for Universal Motown Records, a new version of 'Rebirth' is now slated to be released in the first quarter of 2010."
