Ok, this sounds kind of funny, so not sure how true this can be, but we wanted to post it anyway.

According to a rumors reported by British tabloid The Daily Star, Jay-Z has decided to carry on his wifey's name, Knowles, by adding it with a hyphenation alongside his last name.

So that's Shawn Knowles-Carter?

The reason for the name change is to carry on the Knowles name because Beyonce's parents only have daughters.

"They want to keep Knowles because Beyonce's parents didn't have any sons and they're keen to keep the name going strong," a source told the paper. "Especially if they don't produce any children themselves."

Beyonce's mother Tina filed for divorce amid claims of her husband Matthew's alleged infidelity. So, it doesn't look like any more children will come out of that marriage.

With Jay changing his last name, so will B. Her name will become Beyonce Knowles-Carter. That is, if this rumor holds any truth at all ... which is unlikely.

At press time, there was no official word from either superstars' camps.
