Each year XXL magazine honors the women we see in music videos throughout the course of the present year. After weeding through the countless beauties, one woman is awarded the annual Eye Candy of the Year honors.

So, without further adieu 2009's winner is: Rosa Acosta.

It's the first time the mag was dead-locked, giving the the readers the power to choose the coveted Eye Candy honor. The hip-hop mag said it was a close competition.

"The competition for our annual Eye Candy of the Year honors was so intense that we wound up with co-winners," XXL said on their site. "As much as we enjoy doubling our pleasure, XXL is turning to you, the readers, to help break this tie."

XXLMag.com ran a poll, which ended on Friday (December 18), and Acosta was chosen after taking 52% of the votes with 2,245, over Torres' 2,052 votes.

The lovely Dominican dime piece was killing the competition over the course of the year, popping up in some of the hottest singles as the main video girl -- including Drake's "Best I Ever Had" and "Forever," and most recently, serving as Mike Posner's girl of interest in his first music video "Drug Dealer Girl".

Acosta grew up training classic ballet in the Dominican Republic. In 2006, she moved to U.S. where her career took a new turn, distinguishing herself in several areas in the modeling world, popping up in numerous magazines, receiving press on radio and TV, and of course, music videos.

Last year, Dollicia Bryan took the honor, and now, Rosa Acosta is 2009's XXL Eye Candy of the Year.
