This week, Detroit rapper Obie Trice will release his first album since leaving Eminem's Shady Records label in June 2008.
The upcoming street album is titled Special Reserve, which Obie craftly solely alongside rising producer MoSS.
With its release this week, MoSS has leaked the full album on his MySpace page (MySpace.com/MossAppeal) for all to stream before its release on Tuesday, December 15.
While he's built relationship with some of hip-hop's biggest stars -- working with the likes of Akon, Raekwon, KRS-One, and others -- the rapper kept this album strictly in-house with virtually no guest appearances.
According to his camp, it's "a departure from Obie's typical sound, as a wide range of gritty audio mosaics are provided by MoSS, as he continues to not only raise his profile, but the bar he's set from his previous work."
The final tracklist for Special Reserve is as follows:
1 - Welcome
2 - Got Hungry
3 - You've Been Slain
4 - On & On
5 - I Am
6 - 4 Stories
7 - Roughnecks (ft. Deuce Wonder)
8 - Cool Cat
9 - What You Want
10 - Jack My D***
11 - Dope, Jobs, Homeless (Bonus Song)
