Now that 2009 is nearing its end, rankings for the top digital sales have been released, and the Black Eyeds Peas seem to be leading the way.
While iTunes doesn't reveal actual sales figures, the Peas are atop the singles download chart, hitting #1 with their smash single, "Boom Boom Pow," as well as #4 with "I Gotta Feeling."
At #2 is rapper Flo Rida, holding it down with his stripper anthem "Right Round," while Lady Gaga was just behind him with "Poker Face," followed by punkrockers the All-American Rejects.
Gaga made another appearance at #6 with "Just Dance," while later down th eline T.I. collaboration with Justin Timberlake, "Dead and Gone," lands at #9.
As for top albums, it's the Kings' Only by the Night at #1, while Lady Gaga's The Fame landed at #3, and in at #6 was The Essential Michael Jackson.
8, 9 and 10 went to Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3, Eminem's Relapse, and The Black Eyed Peas' The E.N.D., respectively.
iTunes also included their Editor's Picks on the year-end roundup, with Michael Jackson taking "Artist of the Year", and Gaga taking "Best New Artist."
The Wu's Raekwon got a nod for "Best Hip-Hop Album", thanks to the release of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Pt. 2.
