The Los Angeles Lakers' forward Ron Artest ain't never scared ... even when it comes to sippin' a little Henny in the locker room during a game.

In a recent interview with SportingNews.com, Artest admitted that he drank hard liquor during games when he was a member of the Chicago Bulls squad.

"I used to drink Hennessy at halftime," the NBA player said. "I (kept it) in my locker. I'd just walk to the liquor store (near the stadium) and get it."

Artest described himself as a "head case" when he broke into the NBA with the Bulls, for whom he played from 1999-2002. But, said the drinking came because the team had a losing record, which obviously, he couldn't bare.

Later in the interview, he got even more revealing. He said that he's still ready to fight Detroit center Ben Wallace, which it seems he holds a grudge against ever since he was shoved by him, resulting in a brawl with Pistons fans when Artest was with Indiana.

"He said he wanted to fight me? You all need to check and see if he's still drinking," Wallace said in response. "He's just running his mouth. You all know who you're talking about. It's Ron Artest, just talking."

Maybe Artest is joking, but NBA Commissioner David Stern probably won't think it's that funny. Let's face it, players have gotten fined for smaller things than this.

On top of all this, Artest has other professional sports aspirations other than basketball. Boxing is the other.

"I started training two years ago," he says. "In four years, I'm going to try to have my first fight."
