Rapper Jay Rock Set To Give Away Turkeys In His Watts Neighborhood

Watts rapper, Jay Rock, is in the giving mood, and will be giving to families in his community for the Thanksgiving holiday this week.
The 23-year-old rapper is set to hand out turkeys to families in most need of them in his Watts' neighborhood of Nickerson Gardens on Wednesday (November 25) from 10:30 a.m. on.
Jay Rock knows where he came from, and with his star on the rise, he makes sure to give back to the place that molded him into the artist he is today.
The rapper is best known for his hit single, "All My Life" featuring rap superstar Lil Wayne. The single is off his upcoming debut, Follow Me Home, slated to drop in 2010.
His current single is a track called "Lift Me Up."
Jay Rock is one of several artists also giving back. Legendary New York rapper KRS-One will be handing out turkeys at a local mission on Thanksgiving Day, while singer Trey Songz will be hosting his own turkey giveaway in Virginia on Tuesday (November 24).
