Many celebrities are doing their part for the less fortunate for Thanksgiving throughout the country, including rapper Jay Rock in Watts, KRS-One in New York, and Trey Songz in Virginia.
More turkeys will be handed out by Philadelphia, when hometown hero Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins distributes 500 birds to the city's residents.
On Wednesday (November 25), one day before Thanksgiving, the boxer will head to the 35th District Police Station at 1:00 p.m. ET to distribute turkeys in honor of the three fallen officers killed in the line of duty this past year.
The 35th District Police Station is located at 5960 North Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19141.
In just over a week, Hopkins will make his boxing return to Philly, when he faces hard-hitting Enrique Ornelas in a 12-round light heavyweight bout, dubbed the "Broad Street Brawl."
It will be his first fight in Philadelphia in six years, and first in over a year -- his last being a unanimous decision over Kelly Pavlik in 2008.
The fight takes places at the Liacouras Center at Temple University, and will be televised live on VERSUS, the growing sports cable network at 8 p.m. ET.
