Money Ain't a Thing: Diddy Drops $3 Million on 40th Birthday Bash
Published 11/23/2009 · By Allen Starbury

DiddyTurning 40 is a milestone, and to hip-hop mogul Diddy, it's one to splurge on.

The Bad Boy Entertainment boss recently threw himself a lavish 40th birthday party in New York, spending a whopping $3 million on the bash, reports Page Six.

Some of that money was spent on things like his Garden of Eden theme, which included a $30,000 orchid display, a specially installed black dance floor and black chandelier, a silver confetti drop, and a performance by Al Green.

You know when Diddy throws a party, celebs come to support. The all-star guest list included Bono, Jay-Z, Martha Stewart, Denzel Washington, Nelly, and Fabolous.

The security was tight too, so tight "Twilight" star Kellan Lutz was barely able to get into the VIP area.

All this went down at The Plaza Hotel in New York City.

Now that's BALLERSTATUS! Happy birthday Diddy!

It must be good to do that.

WOW – you know what – I wonder if he thinks about how selfish he looks in God’s eyes – to pamper himself for his birthday instead of possibly being able to help HUNDREDS of families for the holiday. It’s his money – so he deserves it…..the judgement that is.

well alright... - November 23, 2009 at 4:40 pm

… and then give $20,000.00 to a charity? …hmmm.

Wow!! I say to each his own; we all should be so blessed. Giving should be from the heart and we can’t judge. Stop hating.

well yes i agree there is alot of good he can do with that money, but it is his money, he made it, he wasnt born with a silver spoon in hi mouth. now that he has made it he should be able to spend it as he likes.as far as the 20,000 he only gave to charity, well thats 20000 more than they had.
