Not much going on for this week's Album Charts rundown. The biggest albums this week came from rocker Bon Jovi, Carrie Underwood, and band Flyleaf.
However, some previously released albums are still making noise.
The soundtrack for Michael Jackson's "This Is It" movie slipped two spots to no. 4 this week with 117,000 albums sold. It's total is now nearing 700,000.
Much later, at no. 16 was Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3, selling another 33,000 copies. To date, the new album is nearing the 1.3 million mark.
Rounding out the top tier is the Black Eyed Peas' The E.N.D., landing at no. 20 with 28,000 copies sold.
As for new releases, Wale's debut finally dropped. Attention: Deficit landed at no. 21 to start, selling just 28,000 copies.
While Wyclef Jean's collaborative effort with DJ Drama, Toussaint St. Jean: From The Hut, To The Projects, To The Mansion, opens at no. 171 with 3,300 copies of the album moving from stores' shelves.
According to Billboard.com, overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Nov. 15) totaled 7.04 million units, up 3% compared to the sum last week (6.86 million) and down 21% compared to the same sales week of 2008 (8.90 million).
