Duck Down Records Readies Three-CD Triple Threat Box Set
Published 11/17/2009 · By Allen Starbury

Boot Camp ClikThe Boot Camp Clik announced the release of its Triple Threat Box Set this week, a case bundle consisting of all three albums from Boot Camp Clik's 2005, Triple Threat Summer.

The limited set is bound to sell-out quickly, says the Duck Down Records camp.

The Triple Threat campaign helped mark the beginning of group member Sean Price's solo career with his debut release, Monkey Barz, where he introduced his witty word play and displayed ignorance at its finest.

It was the first time that producer 9th Wonder teamed up with Buckshot, for their project Chemistry. The pairing of an MC and producer from outside camps, which at the time was a novel idea, has since become a more popular trend.

The Triple Threat series also brought the return of Smif-N-Wessun, who reverted back to their original group name for their album, Reloaded.

The projects' artwork was created by Marc Ecko's team, which were illustrated with comic-book-like covers. When combining all three album covers, they created one unique image.

The set will drop November 24, at the price of one-CD at $13.99.

It's available for pre-order over at DuckDown.com.
