 Rapper Xzibit is continuing to add to his acting credits, as he is set to appear alongside actor Nicolas Cage in the upcoming film, "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans."
In the film, the rapper plays the character Big Fate, a murderous drug dealer who Cage's character, Terrence McDonagh, becomes involved with.
McDonagh is a New Orleans Police sergeant, who begins as a good cop, receiving a medal and a promotion to lieutenant for heroism during Hurricane Katrina. But, in his heroic act, he injures his back, becomes addicted to prescription pain medication, and strays from the straight and narrow path.
The film is directed by Werner Herzog, and also stars Eva Mendes, Val Kilmer, Jennifer Coolidge, Fairuza Balk, and Shawn Hatosy.

It is set for release on November 20 in select theaters in major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Washington DC. After that, it will expand to further cities across the nation.
