Comedian Katt Williams was arrested in Atlanta early Monday morning (November 9) after he was arrested for allegedly breaking into a home.
According to the Associated Press, the 38-year-old comedian broke into a home in a rural area of Georgia on late Sunday (November 8), using a crowbar, and stole around $3,500 in jewelry and collectible coins.
The homeowner called police around 9 p.m. to report the comedian "gained entry by breaking into the home, and items were taken from the residence."
He was charged with burglary and criminal trespassing, and was being held until a magistrate set bail in an arraignment Monday afternoon.
While Williams is known for his acting, comedy DVDs and stand-up, as of late, he's been in the headlines mostly for arrests and wild behavior.
In November 2008, he was arrested in Manhattan on weapons charges, which were later dropped.
Later that same month, a motel clerk in South Carolina called the police on Williams when he showed up early in the morning demanding a room wearing nothing but a bathrobe -- the incident was caught on video, which showed the comedian acting oddly.
