Rihanna is finally breaking her silence regarding the February altercation with Chris Brown, via her first televised interview on Thursday (November 5) in a ABC Special.
Chris Brown will also be opening up, via an interview special with MTV on Friday, dubbed "Chris Brown: The Interview".
In the interview, MTV says Breezy will discuss topics such as: What caused the singer to lash out against his former girlfriend in the first place? Why has he tweeted fan-made photo galleries of the two of them and released music inspired by her? What does he think about, nine months later, when he recalls that fateful night?
And, of course, what happened that February night that became the talk of the past several months.
"My thoughts [when I look back on it now] is like, 'Why did it happen?' " Chris Brown tells MTV in hour-long, one-on-one interview with news correspondent, Sway. "Like, 'What was I thinking? What is wrong with you?' That's what I'm thinking with myself. That's what my thoughts are, basically, now.
"It's like, 'How do we get past it? How do you, Chris' -- talking to myself -- 'how do you go from point A to point B? How do you learn from your mistakes, turn it into a positive and help other people with the situation, and at the end of the day become the person that you want to be?' "
The full interview will air on MTV on Friday (November 6) at 6 p.m. ET/PT.
In February, while both Rihanna and Chris Brown were in Los Angeles getting ready for the Grammys, the couple got into a late night arugment that escalated into a fight, where Brown allegedly attacked the singer, resulting in his arrest.
Since the incident, it's been a media circus with all sorts of rumors and speculation of what went down. Both parties have been quiet regarding exactly what happened ... until now.
