Despite tension over Jay-Z's single, "D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune," T-Pain seems to really want to get on the hip-hop vet's good side.
After dissing him, then apologizing later for it, the auto-tune king seemed to be following Jay's lead, recently, with a funeral of the musical effect that made him popular.
Pain showed up to DJ Khaled's release party in Miami last week in a hearse, blasting "D.O.A.," and showed off a coffin with various objects he usually rocks.
Inside the coffin was a skeleton dressed in jeans and a white t-shirt, which was rocking with Pain's ridiculous "Big Ass Chain" and signature top hat.
He didn't officially throw a funeral for auto-tune, but it sure looked like he was trying to.

whata dckiss! …it made your life -sshole! out of all artist, he is probably most known to use auto-tune. I guess after he said some sidewayz sht to J he had to repent in some form or another. either way – phuque J 2! technology is just that, don’t hate because he capitalized off of the situation and you didn’t. I don’t know why mthfckaz think they form of expression is the only 1 that should be heard. …kinda contradicts the artistry within, doesn’t it?
Man…it’s good to know that people feel the same way I do on this. T-Pain is now literally giving up his livelyhood to suck-up to Jay. Wow, full sell-out!! If I could get through one day without hearing the gentle “swish-swash” of Jay-z’s nuts swirling around T-pains jaws…it’ll be a GREAT day!
And all this following Weezy declaration that Auto-tune isnt dead and that he doesnt want T-Pain to stop using it… I mean I’m over the autotune thing, but if it makes money for you…screw it. It’s not like T-Pain got Hip-Hop on his shoulders anyway. Shit, even Jay doesnt. Hip-Hop is much bigger than one man. T-Pain will probably regret this move.
