NBA Star Carmelo Anthony Launches Website, Inks Deal With TAG Body Spray
Published 10/16/2009 · By Randall Stevens

carmeloanthonyDenver Nuggets star, Carmelo Anthony, recently launched a new official website, going the 50 Cent route with ThisIsMelo.com.

However, Melo's site isn't a blog posting celebrity news, it was created to provide fans with an inside look into his life off the court.

"Everybody knows the competitor and athlete that I am, but as a fan, you want to know what goes on in the day to day," he said in a video message on the site. "It's important for me to show what it takes for me to be the player that I am at the end of the day."

Currently, Melo's website only features a few videos -- such as shoutouts from the likes of Kobe Bryant and comedian Alex Thomas -- clips from his high school and college days, and some of his charity work.

Additionally, according to BlackVoices.com, the NBA star recently signed a deal with TAG, where he'll endorse his own line of his own signature body sprays.

The line, called Stay Up, joins rapper Ludacris' Get Yours and MTV's Rob Drydek's Makes Moves body sprays.

The three celebrities are competing to see who sells the most cans of the signature spray, with 10% of the proceeds going to their respective charities, while the winner gets a $25,000 prize.
