Eve’s Fetish Clothing Line Is A Wrap
Published 09/28/2009 · By Miles Bennett

EveRapper-turned-actor Eve recently shut down her clothing line, Fetish, for the second time. This time, it might be for good, reports SoJones.com.

A few years ago, the 30-year-old artist put a hold on the launch of the "Fetish" line after a dispute her then, apparel licensee Inovo Group. Then last year, she said she was revamping and relaunching the line for the third time.

"You know what they say, third time's the charm. And I believe it -- it's my favorite number," she said last year."I would actually wear the new Fetish collection. I actually have this in my closet."

However, it looks like the collection is headed to the dead pool, as she shifts her focus back to music and acting. Since Even shifted to acting, she's appeared in several films and even landed her own show on UPN, but it was canceled after three seasons.

Eve is slated to appearance in an upcoming Drew Barrymore directed film "Whip It" due in October, and in a guest spot on the Fox sitcom "Glee."

On the music side of things, Eve recently left her longtime label Geffen and is currently a free agent. She is also working with the Ruff Ryders again, as they gear up for a new compilation.

Eve…ain’t dropped a decent joint in what, 7-8 years? I appreciate the girl’s hustle and all, but a lot of heads are waiting for a tight album to come out.
