 Kanye West may not be liked much by a lot of people, due his highly-publicized interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the VMAs, but he's still get that awards show love.
It was recently revealed that he earned the most nominations for the upcoming 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards, which will be taped in Atlanta on October 10 and air on October 27.
He leads with nine nominations, including nods for Best Hip-Hop Collabo, Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year, Producer of the Year, CD of the Year, MVP of the Year, Hustler of the Year, the Made-You-Look award (for style) and People's Champ.
Right behind Kanye is Lil Wayne and Jay-Z, who landed seven nods each -- including Track of the Year, which included Wayne and Young Money's "Every Girl" and Jay's "D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)."
T.I. is right behind the pair with six noms, including three for his collaboration with Rihanna on "Live Your Life."
The event will be hosted by comedian Mike Epps, and will also recognize N.W.A. veteran Ice Cube with its I Am Hip-Hop icon award.
