The young artist (real name: Korttney Elliott) is currently in the hospital being treated for at least one gunshot wound to the neck.
A source told BallerStatus.com, that she is in critical condition.
However, the circumstances regarding the shooting were unknown at press time.
Twitter has been going crazy with R.I.P. message. However, the girls updated their Twitter (@TheBangz) on Tuesday (September 15), revealing the news, and debuking rumors that Ella is dead.
"Ella has not passed away ...... Thanx ..... We still need your prayers," an update read.
Then later, group member Sabi wrote: "All your prayers and love is working, doctors are seeing good signs, we arent out the woods yet though, keep it up, Thank You everyone."
Update: Sabi tweeted late Tuesday evening (September 15), revealing that Ella has been stabilized after undergoing three surgeries. While she remains unconscious, "she has shown signs of discomfort by moving and growning, her brain is obviously functioning, she's gonna make it," Sabi wrote.

The Bangz are a girl duo based out of Los Angeles, made up of Jenice Portlock aka Sabi and Korttney Elliott aka Ella Ann, who are advocates of the bubbling jerk movement in the city.
They've been enjoying success with their single, "Boys With Tattoos (We Jerkin)," which has been amassing major airplay thanks to KPWR-FM (Power 106), and DJ Felli Fel who jumped immediately on the song.
