9/11 will always be a significant date in New York history because of the WTC attacks. But since last Friday, it will also be remembered as the day that one of the hottest hip-hop shows took place in the city. Nothing but respect for Jay-Z, who - with a little help from Beyonce, Rihanna, Kanye West and Mary J. Blige - put on a brilliant performance at Madison Square Garden last week. With his newest track "U Already Kno Doe", his buzz is only going to continue to get stronger. With production by DJ Fresh, the formula doesn’t stray far from recent songs D-Lo has put out. The melody is a fast tempo organ/synth loop that rides throughout the entire track, never allowing the ears to wander.
