Oakland-bred rapper Shady Nate is more than proud of his west coast roots, and "Billion Dolla Plan," the newest track off his recent release, serves as the latest example. Beeda Weeda, no stranger to the Bay Area scene, steps in on the joint for a verse, reiterating Nate's advice, "In unfamiliar places with unfamiliar faces / But the money look the same so I stick to the basics / I treat it like a lid, locate it then case it / And let it come to me, don't even have to chase it." The beat is reminiscent of Cash Money Millionaires, complete with ultra-low bass, handclap backbeats, and enormous synthesized string sections.

The maker of Jaydiohead, that dope Jay-Z x Radiohead remix mixtape, is back with a new tape. "I made the project in support of the Beastie Boys recent reissue of their Check Your Head album (one of my personal favorites.)
