Ja Rule scared the shhh... outta motorists in Sydney, Australia on Thursday (August 27), when he drove through the city on the wrong side of the road.
According to the AFP, the rapper hopped behind the wheel of his vehicle, with two radio hosts from the Nova 969 station where he had just given an interview.
Apparently, he was more focused on the view than driving in the right lane, which was scary for other motorists.
"I think he was more interested in looking at the view of Sydney than he was keeping his eyes on the road," a spokesman said. "He powered out into Pyrmont with (radio host) Kate in the front and the show's other hosts, Merrick and Rosso, in the car and onto the wrong side of the road."
The three terrified radio personalities screamed at tht rapper to get back onto the correct side of the road, during which some drivers had to swerve out of the way not to cause an accident.
"He obviously thought he was still in America. Luckily there was no damage," the spokesman said.
There were no accidents, or injuries.
An interesting note: Ja Rule had battled for months to get a visa from Australian immigration officials, who were reluctant because he had been arrested for gun possession in 2007.
Hopefully, they don't hear about his driving skills, lol. Shhhhhhh, don't tell.
