Connecticut's world famous rhyme wrecker returns with a warm hug and a deadly snakebite on his sophomore full length album, Wanna Snuggle? Apathy, known as lead MC of the indie fan favorite Demigodz clique as well as a member of Jedi Mind Tricks' Army of the Pharaohs crew, follows up 2006's well-received Babygrande Records' Eastern Philosophy debut with a brand new masterpiece of 21 songs. Little Brother's own Phonte makes a cameo on "True Love", which is featured on the new album.

A-Alikes ft. Mos Def - "Sirens In The Distance" - Listen Here
This track is off the latest A-Alikes mixtape, The Hustler And The Hunted 3. The mixtape has been composed so vivid that it plays as a true-life movie in the making. They touch on topics that address everything from self-preservation to US economics. Controversy still surrounds the NY based rap group, A-Alikes, ever since they openly admitted to the FCC about infiltrating several radio stations across the US just last month with a special uncensored message. DJ Victorious seamlessly incorporated excerpt of these recordings into the project. Raye 6, I.G. and Afayah, Checkmate, Tahir, DJ Butta and even Kanye West offered their talent to this latest release. This Mos Def feature will officially be on their upcoming album Us Against Them dropping later this year.
Deep Rooted ft. Killah Priest & Sha Dula - "XL" - Listen Here
In order to up the ante for their latest track, "XL", San Diego-based hip-hop sextet Deep Rooted recruited emcees Killah Priest and Sha Dula. More production from Mr. Brady, who did a handful of tracks on the new album, gives the track that in-the-pocket groove, highlighted by a laid back bass line and dark, sinuous string sections. Singer Just Brea provides another soulful hook, which contrasts well with the harsh, aggressive verses of Killah Priest, Sha Dula, and Johaz.

The epic attitude suggested by the title of Shady Nate's new album, Gasman Unleashed, comes to the surface with the track "Stupid Leanin'", featuring Mistah F.A.B. and Mony. The track has a straight, catchy drumbeat that immediately establishes the song's appeal and is paired with a powerful, driving synthesizer loop to create a larger-than-life, indomitable quality within the track.
