Biggie’s Son, C.J. Wallace, Follows In Daddy’s Footsteps — Preps Mixtape
Published 08/11/2009 · By Miles Bennett

C.J. WallaceThe Notorious B.I.G. may be gone, but we always have his music to remember him. Following his footsteps is the rapper's son, C.J., who is planning to try his hand at rapper.

Christopher "C.J." Wallace is just 12 years old, and took a trip from Los Angeles (where he lives with his mother Faith) to New York to link up with Diddy's son Christian Combs, both of whom showed up on YouTube video on Diddy's PTwittyTV channel.

"These are the princes," Diddy said while introducing the kids of the legends, before explaining that he had put them through "swag summer school."

"I just finished up with that movie," the cherubic Wallace said, laying out his future plans. "Probably act a little more. I gotta go to school, get good grades. I've been rapping a bit, working on a mixtape right now."

"I'm trying to write rhymes, be a rapper just like my dad," added Diddy's son Christian.

According to Diddy, the "saga continues." He plans to help guide the two sons of hip-hop royalty in their careers, before the "baton is passed," as Diddy puts it.

While a mixtape from Lil B.I.G. is in the works, its title and date of release is unknown at press time.

good luck to CJ, though I hope he becomes his own person, rather than trying to replicate his dad’s style, it’ll be interesting to hear his music in a few years time.

Diddy ran out of adults to “manage” apparently. SO with these kids will he sample the hell out of Jonas Brothers and Miley?

This should be could considered child abuse. You’re not a good parent if you let your kids get exploited like this! Puffy is the devil and Faith isn’t any better. No matter how great the parents were in the rap game all their kids sucked.

@SWRidin : If I didn’t laugh my azz off when I read your comment, SWRdin; cause I was thinking the same thing when I read the article, and Diddy, Puff, Sean, or whatever he goes by, was mentioned. CJ did say, “gotta go to school, get good grades,” so maybe Faith put an ultimatum on him. Let’s hope so. These kids are young. They need to be in the books and be kids. Don’t let them grow up so fast.
