Mickey Factz Gives His Account Of Raekwon/Joe Budden Altercation
Published 08/10/2009, by Ronnie Gamble

2009-08-10 - Raekwon and Joe BuddenThere has been some speculation as to what exactly happened on Saturday night (August 8) between Joe Budden and Raekwon at the Los Angeles tour stop for Rock The Bells.

While it has been confirmed that Buddens was punched during a confrontation in his dressing room, how and what exactly transpired is unknown.

Eyewitness Mickey Factz was in the room when it all went down, turning off the live stream right as things began to heat up. The rapper recorded a video on Sunday (August 9), in which he provides some insight into the altercation.

The rapper said that things started out friendly, with both sides shaking hands initially.

"Rae came in on some peaceful sh** at first," Factz explained. "He dapped everybody, he dapped Joe ... But then everything changed. He wanted to talk about the video he seen me in with Joe Budden."

The video he's refering to was recorded weeks ago during the Boston leg of the Rock The Bells tour, during which Budden offered apologies to Method Man in their own heated war of words. However, the Slaughterhouse member said he'd respond if another members of the WU got involved. Despite the possible prolonged beef, Meth and Joe buried the hatchet.

Raekwon didn't seem to care though, and things inside Budden's dressing room got ugly.

"I didn't see the punch, but I heard it," Factz explained. "Rae was just in another zone, like 'Yo this is what happened, I know what happened'. To be real, that was a bad move. I'm not a street dude, but if it would've went down we would've had to fight. We were not going to win, but I'm looking at Joe if it has to go down, it has to go down. I stayed, I didn't leave. Rae told me it didn't have anything to do with me.

"At the end of the day, I have no problems with Wu-Tang Clan. I'm looking Rae in his eyes and telling him the video happened the day before [they squashed it]. Rae didn't swing. I didn't see the punch, but it apparently hit Joe in the eye and also the shoulder ... If somebody come at you, you have to defend yourself, whether it's Raekwon, Jay-Z, Nas, n****s we listen to."

Factz continued, explaining that Rae outnumbered Buddens and felt disappointed that the Wu vet would even let things go down like that.

"One of the six dudes did punch Joe, it was six versus two. Without me, it would've been six versus one," the rapper said. "I think it was a sucker move. It looked like Joe barely felt it. [But] sh** is crazy. Raekwon has the footage ... Joe didn't swing back, and no they didn't laugh after the punch. Joe and Rae were going back and forth talking like men. How you going to have your man punch him and now you want to talk? And then you have the camera on? C'mon Rae. Once again I love Wu."

It's unclear where things will go from here. But shortly after the incident, Slaughterhouse took the stage, and West Coast member Crooked I seemed a little pissed about the incident.

"Don't believe everything you see on the Internet. Don't nobody gonna disrespect one of my n****s on the motherf***in' West Coast," Crooked I screamed onstage.

Stay tuned for updates.

And you slaughterhouse groupie ass men. Crook will never fuck with Wu. Check his interview. SH needs to drop Budden and recruit someone else like its Destinys Child.
