2008-08-06 - Samsung Summer ConcertSamsung Mobile announced dates for their third annual Samsung AT&T Summer Krush concert series this week.

The series is an exclusive music tour featuring well-known musical acts, designed to give concertgoers private concerts and the opportunity to experience their new products -- this year, it's the slim-designed Samsung JACKTM mobile phone.

Previous participants in the Samsung AT&T Summer Krush tour include Mariah Carey, Nelly, Nas, and Ludacris. This summer, Maxwell will perform in Boston and T-Pain will headline the New Orleans date, while rockers such as Offspring and Daughtry, as well as others, will handle six other dates across the country.

Each date will feature a one-hour performance by a chart-topping musical artist.  Other highlights of the night will include interactive "Krush Challenge" texting installations, showcasing the organizational capabilities of the new JACKTM, and opportunities for visitors to win a number of prizes including a free phone.

The Summer Krush series kicked off on July 17, 2009 with chart-topping band Daughtry performing in Seattle for a special free concert, and will continue through September.

Tickets are currently only available via radio promotions, street teams, and online registration. However, BallerStatus.com is giving our readers the opportunity to get free tickets to the New Orleans date, by visiting Eventful.com and entering the code "NOLA2".

Tour dates are as follows:

08/11 - New Orleans, LA - T-Pain and Maxwell
08/18 - Atlanta, GA - Dierks Bentley
08/24 - Nashville, TN - Darius Rucker
09/02 - Boston, MA - Maxwell
