Michael Jackson's death took the world by surprise Thursday (June 25), when he died suddenly from a heart attack. Fans all across the world couldn't believe it, and neither could countless celebrities on Twitter, who tweeted in disbelief.

Here's a few of their initial reactions:

well not sure what to say but speak my mind i truly believe that he has hurt and harmed many children but these are my feelings and others love and believe he is a great man ,,,,,he is and was a great performer/artist no doubt about that my prayers are with his family but i do not feel i should mourn him as a person only an artist
