 Nas wasn't playin' when he filed a legal papers last month asking a judge to deny his wifey Kelis' request for spousal support.
Kelis claims the rapper has left her high and dry since she filed for divorce in April, even though she's pregnant with his child and due next month.
According to TMZ, the singer says she's "run out of money", and Nas hasn't paid her a single penny -- including support, pre-natal expenses, nothing. She claims he's rich, and is asking a judge to order Nas to pay her.
Kelis wants the rapper to pay spousal support, child support, all pregnancy-related expenses, and one-half of all medical expenses after the child is born.
Additionally, she is seeking $3,500 for the baby nurse after the child's birth, and $20,000 for strollers, cribs and other baby supplies.
"My survival is based on [Nas'] will at this time," Kelis said, reports TMZ. "If he does not want to pay for an expense, it does not get paid."
The couple married in 2003, and news of her pregnancy broke early this year.
Kelis says she's entitled to maintain the lifestyle to which she became accustomed during their marriage. The couple own five homes, they fly first class, dine at fancy restaurants, etc etc. She also boasts an extensive jewelry collections consisting of a $190,000 diamond tennis bracelet, a nine carat engagement ring, and numerous watches such as Cartier, Rolex, Frank Muller and Chopard.
The singer's lawyer said Kelis has attempted to ask Nas for support, but he hasn't responded to their requests.
