Kobe Bryant Lands 'NBA 2K10' Cover, Company Lets Fans Vote For Cover

During Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday (June 4) night, game makers 2K Sports revealed the cover athlete of upcoming installment of the NBA game title "NBA 2K10."

In an exclusive 30-second TV spot, it was revealed that the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant has landed the cover for the upcoming 10th anniversary of the popular NBA game franchise. However, the cover has not been chosen yet.

That's where the fans come in.

As you can see in the image above, there are four different potential covers for "NBA 2K10" -- three different poses of Kobe in his purple and gold Lakers jersey, and one odd cover showing Kobe in a New York Knicks jersy.

It's unclear if the Knicks mock-up cover is a joke or not. But, it's definitely an option in the voting poll. Voting ends June 15th.

You’ll see the New York one isn’t actually an option if you look at the disclaimer at the bottom of 2k’s page. It says “Sorry, New Yorkers, vote all you want, but this ones just for fun”

i think spike lee has gone a TAD bit too far. i mean kobe in a KNICKS jersey. that should be lebrons place by 2011. i mean, who else has number 24 on the knicks??? i think mike d’antoni is tryin to make a major steal here… :-)

now i have to disagree! madden was way better than 2k football. there is nothin like madden, but i do agree that rickybobby is out of his mind to say that live is better than 2k basketball. who even plays live except for him and carmello anthony lol. that’s why carmello had to cut his hair.
