Cage Announces Summer Tour In Support Of Depart From Me

CageFresh off the release of his new Shia LaBeouf-directed video and free EP called I Never Knew You, Cage is announcing the first US tour in support of his upcoming full-length LP, Depart From Me, due in July via Definitive Jux.

The Brooklyn-based rapper will be delivering his new material (kicking off July 2nd in Brooklyn, NY) with partners in crime, guitarist (and producer of nine tracks on the record) F. Sean and DJ Chauncey of XO Skeletons.

The live show is, as described by Charles Aaron of SPIN Magazine; "not really either hip-hop or rock ... instead it felt like an artist getting more deeply comfortable in his own skin, and not just scratching the surface."

Depart From Me is the rapper's third album, and features 14- new tracks.
