This week we get to know two new artists from Konvict Musik, while we mourn Konvict soldier Dolla. Rashaan, Teairra Mari and R Kelly decided to throw in a remix for Drake's "Best I Ever Had". Last, a big shout out to Donny Goines for sending his new album, which met all our expectations. Playing two instruments each, Konvict Musik artists Ray & Renny sing, write, produce and perform in four languages. Writing for other major international artists, they are also working on their freshman album scheduled for 2009 release.

On "Slow Down" co-starring Lupe Fiasco, Eva urges today's youth to be cautious and make smart choices in life and love. This bass heavy track is the lead single from Eva's forthcoming debut album which will feature collaborations with Snoop Dogg and Krayzie Bone from the legendary Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. The album will also feature production by Poli Paul , JRRotem and Scott Storch.

To Donny Goines it has always been about the music and nothing more. His mantra in giving the fans what they want will always take precedent over monetary gain. "With this album it was important to me for people to just listen. I didn't want any apprehensions or hindrances with this project at all and my main goal is to just get the music to the masses.
