The Memphis Grizzlies' forward, Darius Miles, was arrested in St. Louis on Wednesday night (May 13) for possession of marijuana.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the 27-year-old baller was pulled over in the St. Louis suburb of Fairview Heights on Wednesday, after police stopped him when he failed to use a turn signal.
Police then ticketed him for driving with a suspended license, and had the car towed off.
After a search of the vehicle, authorities found a small amount -- less than 2.5 grams -- of marijuana in a bag, resulting in a misdemeanor drug possession charge.
Miles played in 35 games for the Grizzlies this past season and averaged 3.5 points. Over his six-year NBA career, he's averaging 10 points a game.
He is currently free on $100 bond.
The Grizzly played in just 34 games during the 2008-09 NBA season, averaging just 3.5 in almost 9 minutes a game. The season before, Miles suffered a severe knee injury that many believed ended his career.
Miles started his career in 2000 with the Clippers, before moving on to the Cavaliers, the Trail Blazers and the Celtics, before landing at Memphis last year.
