Joseph Simmons, the son of founding Run DMC member Rev. Run, was arrested on marijuana possession on Friday night (May 8) in Manhattan's Upper Westside.
According to the New York Daily News, the 19-year-old was busted by police while in the act of purchasing weed in Washington Heights, and reportedly tried to get rough with the officers.
