 Cassie has been exposed ... literally.
Nude photos of the 22-year-old singer leaked to the web Wednesday (May 6), and quickly spread to numerous show biz blogs.
The pics show Cassie naked from the waist up, laying on a bad with her nipple piercings exposed. They were taken more than a month ago, when she started popping up in public with a shaved head.
While some questioned the authenticity of the photos, Cassie confirmed they are real, when she addressed the leak via her Twitter profile.
"IT SEEMS THAT SOMEONE HAS HACKED INTO MY COMPUTER ... THAT'S REAL FOUL AND EVIL. NOW STOP ACTING LIKE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN A TITTY BEFORE," Cassie wrote.
Some bloggers seem to feel the leak was done internally as a way to help boost her music career, giving her widespread publicity.
In an official statement, released Thursday (May 7), the singer brushed off the leak, saying people need to grow up and move on.
"The recent personal pictures that have been leaked on the internet of me were hacked and stolen out of my computer," the statement read. "These photos were obviously never intended for the world to see and it's sad that people would really take time to steal and post them, it's just evil.
"At the end of the day breasts are breasts, mine weren't the first you've seen and they won't be the last ... people need to grow up, let's move on," she continued.
Cassie broke onto the scene in 2006 with her hit single, "Me & U," but hasn't fair well, musically, since. She released the buzz single, "Official Girl," in late 2008, but her sophomore album Electro Love has yet to see a release date.
